Philippe Delaloye was born and
raised in Switzerland, where he attended Lausanne Hotel School. After
graduating in 1979, he worked in the UK and Switzerland, before settling
permanently in Thailand in 1985, the country that has continued to
fascinate him during and after extensive travels. His first call took
him to Pattaya, where he progressed from Executive Assistant Manager at
Siam Bayview Resort Hotel to General Manager of both Siam Bayview and
Siam Bayshore Resort Hotels within just a few years. He spent almost
twelve years in Pattaya and Rayong, where he lead the Rayong Resort, Spa
& Convention Center as General Manager. Since his move to Thailand over twenty years ago, Philippe has been an active member of the hospitality industry, representing the THA as 1st Vice President and Director of the THA Pattaya Chapter from 1988 - 1992 and 2nd Vice President and Director of the THA Southern Chapter 1996 -1998. Since 2004, Philippe is a boardmember of the Thai Hotels Association Eastern Chapter. |

Managing Director With 30 years of experience in the travel industry in the UK, starting as a graduate trainee for American Express, then moving to British Airways in regional sales and marketing, then 3 years with Crest Hotels as Travel Trade sales manager, Guy became GM for an incoming Australian tour operator to Europe, and then moved in to business travel, and after working with specialist music and media agencies he started Sounds Travel Ltd in 1989 in London, and then reformed as his own company Music Travel Ltd in 1992 which he sold in 2005 and to come and live and work in Thailand. His last 15 years of UK travel experience involved looking after the travel for music groups (Bands) such as Simply Red, Tears for Fears, Annie Lennox, M People, The Strokes, The Spice Girls and countless others. Most recently he completed the European Tour of Lionel Richie and worked with his friend the artiste Gabrielle on her Irish tour. Guy has also handled major product launches for the Microsoft Xbox and Canon's newest camera, each involving air and hotel travel for over 500 people.Guy has travelled the world extensively, but Thailand is now where he plans to stay. |
